Ok, everything out for prep and paint.

Primer coat went down, then a base coat goes on.

Starboard side floor.

Everything that had to come out is now on the benches being sanded and prepped for paint.

Filling all the voids with a quick sanding saves time plus gives a really smooth finish

Due to the top having to come off these seats, the side and upper area will be trimmed in African Mahogany.

Need to get a dry fit on the late model engine.

This boat was powered by twin 50 2 cycle outboard Merc engines.

This later model 4 cycle engine may be a little taller than the older Merc, but we need to know now that it will fit and work without any modification.

Plenty of room for everything and good clearance.

With the engine setting in the proper angle we still have almost three inchs to work with.

Now to make the Helm. I found some nice African Mahogany to use.

Making up the helm and a matching dash.

Both can be made at the same time
