I've spent several days crawling under the Saratogan applying barrier primer and today bottom paint. Realize what I need is a creeper with lights and a place to hold my paint tray. Info that came with the bottom paint says an average applier can apply a gallon in 40 minutes. I spent 5 hours applying 1/2 gallon. No wonder the Saratogan has taken so long.....I'm just slow!

Well, it needs to be done right no matter how long it takes...
And, Yes, the older I get, the slower I get too :BigHappy1:
Looks as she is getting pretty close...
Need to look back and see where she came from and do some remembering how she got to the point she is now...

Poor Man`s Creeper
Hey Tim ,
I know that feeling from a couple of bigger jobs done the past couple years.
Feels like having the Flu afte you apply the yucky flavors of Bottom Paint.
Anyways, I use a pair of old Office chairs along with a Creeper when space allows.
The office chairs work great with no or a broken back support as one I have fell back but stayed useable as it now makes a sloped back brace.
You can even spiral them down for height adj.....makes arms last longer.
The Keel is probably low enough for the flatter creeper but the outer slopes should give you enough room.
I feel your pain and am looking foward to seeing what caused it.

Amen to office chairs!
Tim,
Yes, I grabbed an office chair from a storage unit...FREE! Was thinking today...this chair is the best thing since sliced bread! The boat is on a rolling cradle, so I've done a lot of crawling over the cradle to get under the boat.
Finished the bottom paint tonight....think i'll get relaxed with a brewski or twoski. Wow..am I glad that's complete....!!
Thanks for your input......
