transom

hey all curious if any of you that replaced your transom on the dorsett catalina still have your pattern board, my transom appears to have been "worked" on in the past but was never fiberglassed in place fully as the top 4" of the transom was open to the elements and am unsure if they just added more wood to the transom or replaced it proper or ?? so i am hoping someone might have there pattern board so it will be the correct size

The single biggest flaw in the Catalina design was the transom. I replaced the inner 3/4 inch plywood with a 3/4 x 6 x 54 inch piece of aluminum bracketed to the new floor. Has worked flawlessly for years now. I hang a 60 Mercery 4-stroke on the transom.

is the transom only suppose to be 3/4" mine is 2 3/4" put together for a total of an 1 1/2" and your pic are so small i cant really tell what is what in them
