Century resorter

Hello, my boss is restoring a Resorter from 1953. His horn ring is broken and it certainly looks like the same ring as found on a 1948 Willys Jeepster. Is ti the same horn ring with just a different badge? Boat suppliers want almost 300 bucks for these and I can get one from the Willys collectors for a hundred bucks. The steering wheel is of course different between the boat and the car but the horn ring looks identical.
