    Kelley,

Late to your thread. Looks like you have a winner there! Keep working on her and you will get her in the water before you know it.

check out my 404 thread for details on my floor and transom. It is a lot of work but worth the piece of mind in the end.

Picked up a pair of galvanized wheels for the trailer. ..smokin' deal on Craigslist! Since I had arm surgery I had my 13yr old son mount them today...the trailer looks way better now than with the rusty steel wheels.

Also scored a complete N.O.S. transom mount steering bracket set up.
A good weekend for forward progress on the boat.

Well nothing earth shattering lately on the boat. I did pick up this canvas and frame the other day:

The frame seems to be the right size. I installed the front half and it fits side to side and looks better than the one I had gotten with my boat. The canvas, well that's another story as it sat outside for a while...a long while. Bummer too, it's never been used and you can tell. It's just a victim of WA weather. The buttons don't line up on my boat anyway so I'll look into getting a new canvas made sometime in the 1-2 year plan
I also pulled the steering wheel. I'm going to take a crack at restoring it. I've done VW steering wheels before with decent success so fingers crossed this one comes out looking good.

Mike it seems you and I are chasing a lot of the same parts! I'm looking for the same thing: side rail mounts and pipe.
Let me know if you find anything, and I'll do the same.

Mike I believe I have 1 or 2 decent ones left. This pic shows the worst one but you get the idea. Both of them are flow through stands and the railing should have a pointed end cap on each side. I have neither.

Yes I do need the name badges. It looks as though mine were removed quite a while ago. Can your friend cast those too?
I'll look at the boat tonight or first thing tomorrow morning and see if I have a solid rail stand and if I do, send it to you asap!
