That is not the No Feedback system.
I will look the one I recommend and you can look at it.
This is the one I try to use in most boats.
I have the older rack and pinion and not pleased with it. I want this one.

Installed one side of my new-to-me seats a couple of weeks ago. I need to cut out another wood frame mount for the passenger side since it never came with a seat there. I also need to find another leg or get one made. I'm keeping an eye on Mike's seat set up and may add a swivel to these seats. I've already talked to him about making me a rear seat since I really like his that he made.

I like how flat these sit and will probably use them as is this year...unless I get a wild hair and redo everything.

haha, nice Mike...you already have some nice seats going!

Spent most of Saturday working on the outboard. I ended up trading the two earlier homelites (sorry Nick, but they did help me upgrade) for a '70 F-block Bearcat. This thing appears to have low hours and never in salt water. A gentlemen named Ron has been going through it and yesterday I went out to help out. It has all new wiring connections, plugs, wires, electronic ignition, fuel pump, oil, oil filter adapter and filter, new gear oil and paint touch ups. It ran great and was quieter than I expected.

We're trying to decide on what prop to put on it. I figure about 1500-2000 lbs with people, gear, fuel etc... Any suggestions?

Spent the afternoon installing the NFB steering system. Easy install, though I was nervous cutting into the helm to fit the adapter
I think the cable is too long. I might have to order a 10' instead of my 12' that I have now.

What's the best procedure to fill holes in the helm?

Kelly, You could do like my Skagit Bainbridge was done as far as getting a nice wood and varnish it and screw it down with fancy washers. You then fill the holes with a sealant. Chuck

• hmm, that never even crossed my mind...I like it. I'll have to think it over though since my wife isn't a fan of wood that gets wet. It's like fingernails on a chalk board to her.

• Chuck's idea is a good one. The wood on the dash looks sharp. If you want to keep the glass look, try to find switches or accessories that can go in those holes. Barring that, you can always use screws and finish washers.

• Somebody put in an aftermarket ignition at one point. Now it's just more holes to fill.
