I've recently taken off my steering wheel and other doo-dads for repair or replacement.

Helmar, what kind of cover do you have on your Uniflite? I've looked around a little but haven't seen anything I liked yet.

Been running all day. If you mean the canvas top, I took it from a larger boat because the boat I took it from was way more work than I wanted to do. I used the materiel and made it up to fit the Uniflite.
Another 20 20 deal, 20 miles per hour and 20 feet away it looks good.
I am just learning, when I have the time, to sew with that machine.

Oops..I meant Helmar's boat and mine were the early ones. ..I like them all either way though!

I have some pics of my current seats in my restore thread. .. One original seat, one aftermarket. I'm pretty sure the early Uniflites came with only one seat. I'm on the hunt for seats and just waiting on the word to pull the trigger.
greetings kelly dads boat came with three seats from the factory.....along bench seat in the rear mounted to the front side of the tub and had two short pole legs to help suport the tube frame and two in the front just like the one the helmar has in his boat...mike pingatore in seattle

That's probably the difference between the first ones produced and yours...they added more comfort
The earliest pics I can find from '58 show only one seat at the helm while the 60-61 models had seating like yours.

I'm posting this for Michael. He has a professional tube bender, so he's made a very cool seat base.
