  • First time in 35 years...

The Marvelous 59' Bellboy 404and trailer have been in the water. No running pictures as i did not have another boat with us. But GPS hit 38 MPH!! Good enough for me and i tell you the foamed floors made it rock solid and very quiet. I was impressed. Thanks to Mr Ault for coming with me on short notice!

More pictures soon to come after next outing.

John, That is always a great feeling when that day comes after all of those years dreaming about the first time out ! Glad to see she got wet. Did you have to use that "HOSE " in the cabin. Nice black VHF antenna too. Best,Chuck

          Marvelous, Indeed!

Congratulations on finishing the boat and getting it wet, John. You've got an aptly-named boat, and we hope to go for a ride during the Alder Lake event.

                        Thanks Bob,

running shots will be a coming! I would like to do a youtube on it like you did. I tell you foaming the floors and reinforcing everything the ole 59' rides and is as quiet as a new boat. Of course except the Big Merc screaming at 5500 RPM!

                            Foaming after shots

You can see a before shot with floor pulled up. The after shots you can see the holes where i added the two part foam. I cannot find the actual pictures with foam everywhere.

Plenty of folks have foamed though so everyone Please feel free to ad your knowledge, wisdom and of course pictures!
