Bell Boy 21 maiden voyage

1956 Bell Boy 21 was launched today after 30 years on dry land. Ride is simply elegant. Suzuki 140 is terrific. 38.6 mph at 6200 rpm with room to spare to get to 40 on next time out. Cruises around 35 at 4500. George and his crew at Puget Marina in Olympia are wonderful to work with.

Boat is back at Marty's for the final touches such as splashwell engine cover, and reinstalling rear seat both of which are missing in the picture.

Picture was probably at about 30mph in first on water test after rigging the motor.

Wow! That's sweet! Congratulations! I'm jealous!

Spent the whole day spray painting. Did I mention.....I've made every spray painting mistake known to man......!! I'm gaining on it however. Three color paint scheme. Never done so much masking in my life!
