      More Tolly work...

Time is flying by as we approach our July goal for the Tolly. After coat 8 of varnish on the topsides we decided it was good for now (you really could get addicted to the whole varnish process.) After a good week of curing, we started all the hardware installation as well as some of the major wiring in the boat. We will work on the windshield (clean up and install) and hang the motor this next week. We have the floor boards and some interior left as our major projects.

That Tolly is one sweet ride. Lot of work but the best crew you could have.

Work is killing me right now but hope to at least get over to see you for a while tomorrow. Can't seem to get anything else ready but might throw the jet boat in the water and see if it still works. Barry

It floats!!! Successful sea trials today. We are minus the windshield and interior, but it runs!! See everyone at Alder Lake tomorrow.

Some better quality pictures. A big "thank you" to Thom (Frankenmerc). This old motor fires right up and ran like a top.

That is one stylish watercraft! Hats off to all the Franchini bunch, for a job well done! I'll look forward to seeing it soon.
My boat projects have been put on hold by summer stuff. Thanks for the inspiration. - Ross

After a last minute scramble today, the seats and new chrome work was completed and installed on the boat. We leave at 6:00 tomorrow morning for Sandpoint and the first big show for our little Tolly. A big thank you to Kathy Dow for getting the interior all finished up. It really makes the boat seem "finished". Pictures from the show to follow next week!
