    That's a 1960 or 61 Skagit 20 Convertible. Looks goofy, but yes, that's stock.....

Ha! yeah, I kind of have a CL addiction. I used to hate when people would post finds like this, mostly because I lost out on two deals because of forum post. After thinking about it though, the people that were posting 'finds' were just trying to be helpful to those that are looking but just can't find the 'one'.

I was amazed last night on just how many different cool boats I found in about a span of 30 mins.

Hmm, I guess I only recall the hardtop models. I'll have to search now...

Somewhere I have 8X10 B&W glossy prints from the Skagit factory of most of the Skagit models........ I'm moving, but will keep an eye out for them....

I would really be thankful if you found a picture of the 25 at the factory!

                Karl,

Hey, great to meet you and happy you have Arthur. Such a great example of an "original" Skagit. The 25 was originally the model 24. However, after Howard Roberts left the company, the marketing strategy was to advetise the boats by their gunwale length rather than their "on-deck" length. So the 24 became the 25 and the 31 became the 32, etc......on down the product line. I have some factory pictures of the 24-25 which I will keep an eye out for......for you....

                cheers,

                Tim
