  • ID the Slough Cruiser!

This was owned by Stan Davis`s Family, used for picnics on the Bothell Slough. He can`t recall the maker and is hoping somebody else can tell us what they had.
Looks almost like my friends Mark Jeffrie`s 50`s Reinell-built Plywood sided cabin hull. His has the same wood on the entire outside.
It came with the Johnson shown, then went to a Homelite later on.
He sent me a home Video of small boats buzzing the beachside picnic.
I`ll try to post it eventually......out of playtime today.

Thanks Tim. What I remember about it, it was 20' and there was no badge or lettering of any kind. If it said Reinell anywhere I would remember that. It may have been home built from plans. The was a decal or label in the cockpit area that said Chip's Marina, or something like that. I remember it coming from a dealer on Hwy 99 in Lynnwood, but that memory could be flawed. It was originally powered by two 1955 Johnsons, an electric start 25 and a manual start 10. Both were remote controlled and steered and used together. These pictures were probably taken right after my grandfather bought it and look like they were taken in 58 or 59.
