WANTED: 1955 thru 1959 skagit 20

So I was looking on craigslist several months ago and saw my first skagit
20 boat for sale. From that point I've been hooked! Now I'm searching for
a decent project to restore.

If anybody out there knows of a decent project in the northwest
washington area, I'm eager to hear about it!

Jeff Cook in Lakewood, WA has a pretty decent 1958 20' Offshore for $800 as I recall? No trailer or motor.
I went and looked at it and was going to buy it, but then the San Juan fell into my lap. It has a touch of delamination near the top of the transom, but appeared to be easily repairable. I ultimately went with the Dorsett (but it was a tough decision).

He's still got it as far as I know? The Offshore has a little more room in the cockpit than the Express. They are much rarer than the Express.

i wonder what the price is on the skagit without "under the condition" of them doing the

Unfortunately, that particular Skagit really isn't for sale, except with the condition attached, since my hope is to restore the boat for personal use, and I've already invested in trailer, motor, new windshield glass, etc.
