Talked with seller on phone. Windows and hardware are all intact. Transom might need some work. Hull in good shape.
Seller does not know much about this type of boat motor.

I just drove though that area a short time ago.
Depending on the transom, that might be a very good deal.
That big of motor, one could go give it a good shake and if she wobbles on the transom, its cut and replace time for sure.

I think my transom is also toast as with a McCullough on the back, I can shake it and see some movement.

I really hate taking core samples but one has to do it.
A little 5 minute epoxy and a good oak dowel with some groves cut into it drives right into the core hole when done.
