1955 Axtell River Racing Runabout w/ Mercury 35hp 13'
Built by Axtell Brothers in Longview Washington as a river racing runabout. One of the fastest in the Columbia river races of that era. Deck refinished by retired Tollycraft craftsman. Boat is in excellent overall condition. Motor is 1960 Mercury 300 Thunderbolt with electric start (35 hp). Freshwater engine from Salem was restored by Thom Adams of Shelton Washington three years ago and only used at Mason Lake at a club outing. Steering and controls were moved from rear racing cockpit to front seat when engine was restored. Beautiful vintage boat that corners effortless due to original aluminum racing fin.
