Hey Robert, good to see your still around. Good luck on the sale.
Marty and I have been aboard her so I got see her first hand.

I think after the Willamette event up to the Oregon City Falls, didn't you change props or something like that? I remember something in the order of Wholly Cow, she gets up and runs now

If I lived up in the Portland area and had the money, I would be all over her like white on rice !!!!!!

Thanks for the kind words. Arthur has been a great boat; safe, reliable, has never failed me on the water.
Not as much time for boating as I used to (bought a house, new job, etc....)
Have an interested party coming down tomorrow; will keep you posted.

My wife Jody and I purchased Arthur from Robert last weekend. Robert took great care of the boat as it is in fantastic shape. Some of you may know that I bought the other 25' Express from Marty a couple of years ago. It has been cleaned up and waiting for a couple of home projects to get finished before reconstruction started. I was just talking with Jody about my firsts steps when I saw Roberts post. I couldn't pass it up.
So, now I have two 25' Skagit Expresses. Anyone want to guess which one I would like to part with? If you are interested, please contact me and I will make you a killer deal (as in Jody will kill me).
And finally, I now need to get Arthur up to Shelton. Does anyone have any leads on a trailer that would be able to carry a 24/25' inboard?

Karl, congratulations!! Michele and I actually drove all the way down from Bellingham back in 2012 to look at Arthur, we were so close it buying it but we had just found out about Declan and decided it wasn't the right time...

As for your trailer needs... We are headed over to Mahogany & Merlot this weekend and I know there are several of the ACBS folks that have spare trailers. I know my father borrowed a big triple axle unit to drag a 30' Chris Craft up from Portland, I will ask around and see is that thing is still available for rent..

I don't know although we are leaning towards keeping it.

It's a start. Could use some fenders but those can be found cheap.

Kelly, that is definitely too small for Arthur. This is a 25' inboard with a big Ford Intercepter V8. Definitely needs to be either a HEAVY dual or triple axle, beam or perimeter channel, style trailer...

But glad to see someone in he club volunteering to scour the craigslist dredges for Karl. That's one of the great benefits of being part of this club, we look out for each other!
