Help with fageol 44 marine outboard engine

Hello- I am in need of a shroud or cover for my Fageol 44 marine outboard engine. I may need some smaller parts as I am doing a complete overhaul of the engine. I am a Crosley engine collector and have always wanted a Fageol 44 as it is part of the Crosley family tree of engines and finally got to purchase one two weeks ago.

Does anyone know how many of these up right outboards Lou Fageol produced?

Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Thanks for posting the pictures, you can see the evolution into the Bearcat. I assume you are on the Crosley mailing list? I had Jim Bollman post on the list before I joined for a lower unit. I received a reply from a fellow who had bought a bunch of Croften parts, he had a couple NOS lower units. I didn't keep the contact info though. You might try over there and see if you get a response. I have no idea how many of those were made and have never seen one. I hope you'll keep us posted on your progress!
