Last call for the Island adventure 2010, I will sling launch at Skyline Marina which is closer than Cap Sante to Washington Park launch ramp. I will be in the water at 10am and then head over to Washington Park and pick up any boaters that launched there around 1030.
I will bring a small inflatable raft to get to shore if we anchor out, it is big enough for 2 people. We'll try to get to a dock for the night.
The min. amount of gear that will be needed is----anchoring gear, enough fuel for 75 miles on board, food and water for two days and a chart of the area. I will supply the stove and pot for heating water, coffee is not without mornings! Your boat should be able to do 20 knots in calm conditions and be able to handle 2 foot white caps anything beyond that we'll try to pick a differant route or wait it out.
We should be back to the launch ramps by 3pm on Sunday.
If Saturday looks real wet, lets just go on Sunday for a long day. So far the forecast calls for sun both days.
