Unfortunately we will be missing this one. We have a large wedding for our youngest daughter to pay for in Sept. So were both picking up as many hours as possible. Would sure rather be on the water than working for the man. Hope everyone has a great and safe time. Take lots of pics for those of us who have to live through them.:TakePicture1:

Tacoma event...
We won't be able to make it, since the boat that broke down at Mayfield isn't yet repaired...and I need to spend this weekend moving dirt next to our house, where we're planning to build a new boatshop.

This was a cool event last year; Dragon Boats and great weather. But the tow rig is in the shop for it's continued mystery ailment that only the certifiably computer literately insane can figure out. GO GM! I really like my Honda outboard...

sat.
I was going to try to make it tomorrow, but the lower unit in my motor is toast. I won't be boating any time soon because I don't want to put anymore money in old motors . I am going to try to save up for a newer 4 stroke Honda if they come in a short shaft model. I just joined the I Hate Boats Club.

Sorry to hear about the LU. Old motors do tend to do things like that. A 4 stroke Honda would be nice. No need to hate boats. A nice motor will put a smile back on your face.

Dennis, Sorry to hear about your motor troubles. Get a hold of Dr. Frankenmerc ( Thom Adams ) in Shelton. He might be able to take care of your Merc's LU problems and it will be a LOT cheaper than a 4 stroke. If you want his phone number ( maybe you have it ? ) give me a call @ 1-800-637-9190 anytime. I have a 85hp T/T Merc on order with him ( a friend ask me the other day what year it is and i told him i don't know ,but as long as it starts when i turn the key like the Evinrude 50hp did on GregJ's and Rosario ,that's all i care about and coming from Thom i'am sure it will be a good one. ) for the 17' Skagit i'am working on and also have the sweet running 65hp Merc on California Girl. GregJ was impressed with the 65hp when we where out on Lake Stevens. I guess i have gone to the darker side now ! lol Best,Chuck1957 17' Skagit Express Cruiser
