Great, Tim. Looking forward to seeing the Saratogan at La Conner. Becky and I are bumming a boat ride down from Lummi Island with friends as you may have read, the transom is falling off Rosario but she shall float again one of these days.

        R J Young
        Rick Love 2 b0ats
        Melaine Pacific
        Chuck Carey
        Clint Stroebel 2 boats
Hope we get more boats. Been asked about dinner afterwards and what the majority wants is fine with me. Some may go to Hope Island for the night. The farnhouse is a spot and the show also puts on a dinner after the show. If anyone wants to park a boat Friday or Saturday, I have a big yard with lots of room. It is a good show with a lot of things to do. The wives will enjoy the town of Laconner and the cars and boats are great. Clint

            Anyone else?

I hope some more members will join us at the show, this is a really good opportunity to promote the club and this is always a good show to see. I've especially enjoyed touring the larger boats at the dock, from the vintage Boeing family yacht to a WA State crane barge. One year I spent some time in the bridge of the barge (40-odd feet above the water) enjoying the captain's stories of keeping the public waterways clear. Very interesting.

If you are considering attending and don't want to have to sit with your boat all day, Clint and I (at least) will be there all day and can keep an eye on things for you. And Clint is right about the wives / kids / grandkids enjoying LaConner, it's a great place for walking, shopping and people watching.

As Clint has said before, your boat does not have to be perfect to be displayed, it's good to show projects in all stages of completion.

            Hope to see you there!

            Tim

Add Bruce Bridwell to the list with 2 boats. His Skagit 20 has been in the family since new and is a beautiful original Skagit

Scott McDade and Welike to the list. Been thinking of bringing my Skagit offshore 20 to the show. Put it in between Chucks restored offshore and Melaine's original offshore. Kind of an original to blackberry and back to restored. What do you all think?

Clint, Great idea just make sure "Bainbridge" does not pick up any bad habits from your boats. What about dinner at the Farmhouse or the show sponsor Banquet dinner at the LaConner Seafood & Prime House for only $20 per person ? Chuck

This would give people some sort of clue on what it takes and what they can look like.

I am planning on bringing the 20ft Skagit offshore. Should show what can be done with an old fiberglass boat by comparing it to Melaine' original and Chucks restored offshore. My 20 is in better shape than Chuck's was before restoration. I am hoping to start bringing my boats by 6:30 so early is fine. Hope to have them all parked by 10:00. Tim will be bringing a canapy and table to promote the club. I hope for a good showing and it is a great way to promote our hobby. Seem like we always find out a few more old boats in the barn at the show. Bring lawn chairs so you have a place to sit. We can discuss where to eat after the show or to go boating Saturday evening or Sunday at the show Clint

Clint, Will be there early. You are right that your 20 is in a lot better shape than my 20 was before it got some serious restoration by Marty for Bruce Drake who i purchased it from last year at this time. It just kept moving around the club from one member to another ( total of 4 ) thru the years since i first saw it back in 2003 with GregJ. Chuck
