Lake Washington / Blue Angles Aug 2 2012

On Aug 2 , I am leading a group to watch the Blue Angles out on
Lake Washington . They have 2 events about 11 and 2 pm,
We launch then gather North Of I-90 bridge

Ingvar,
I`ll be out there doing some towing and jumpstarts but always love watching the Blu Angels.
We used to come in from Salmon fishing as they departed Boeing Field ,always getting a look at the group in formation,then seeing the two chase planes race to catch up after being a minute behind.
The Thursday/Friday show always has passes geared for the families gathered at the Museum of Flight where the Navy brings in the local press and such.They usually have two shows at once that day,race day won`t have as much going on.
When landing along the river ,you really get as close as the lake but are usually the ONLY ones on the water.
We also figured out they use the West Seattle Bridge as a line up and pivot pt on various speed runs,though they may have been using the bright yellow MissBeeHaven.
Careful out there in the little boats,the big ones don`t care about their wakes!:boater1:
