Brunch Meeting at 11:30 AM at Ivar's Salmon House on Lake Union

Ivar’s Brunch, first event for the year 2013, come join in.

We’ll meet in Ivar’s Salmon House on Lake Union, in the banquet room. Arrive either by water or land and join us in enjoying a great buffet brunch. Date is Sunday, Jan. 6, at 11:30 am.

The cost of brunch is $41.00 per person, including sales tax and gratuity. The $41 needs to be paid ahead of time, no later than Friday, Jan. 4. Paypal payments should go to starrjam@comcast.net . If you would like to mail a check, contact Susie, starrjam@comcast.net for the address. Only included beverages are coffee and tea, so if you want anything else you need to bring cash or a check that day for the extra charges.

Not Me, the manufacturer. It's a Troybilt Horse. My old smaller Troybilt Pony tiller wore out after 30+ years of tilling my little P Patch. I think this one will outlast me. VeryBigSmile

Ivar's get-together?

Could someone who attended the Ivar's event please give us a brief summary? Thanks a bunch.

Hi Bill, Seven people showed up for this one and we had a good time. The food at Ivars is always good but I think there brunch is getting a little pricey eventhough the price did include the tax and tip. In the past we used to launch down in Renton and meet at Ivars. One year we arrived at Ivars only to find out that there dock had been destroyed by a storm so out of despiration I kiddingly suggested Hooters. To my surprise everybody thought that was a great idea. We went there the next year also. Maybe next year we might organize something like a cruz down from Renton or Magnuson down to Fishermans Terminal in Ballard or something different and maybe a little cheeper. Last year we did that in the spring and went to Chinooks.
