Sept 25 on Wednesday is the schedule for the Skagit river. It is a tide sensitive run. High tide of 9+ and low tide of 6+ so should be plenty of water. Props should be fine. Launch under the Rainbow bridge in La Conner around 10:00am. We plan on going out through hole in wall around Goat island up the Skagit to Mt Vernon. Will be a slow easy trip. Might beach boats and look for a old stern wheeler wreck. If you are interested give a reply on the forum. Clint

If everything goes well I will have the Ski Master ready to go and like Chuck if the weather is good I will be there, subject to business requirements.
The ski master as a 60 hp Mercury outboard on it, which should be more than adequate. I still have to work to do but the intervening two weeks should be more than enough time to get the electronics installed on the boat which includes the depth finder and GPS.
I will bring my handheld VHF as well. I assume like on other cruises a preplanned communications channel such as channel 69 will be used. I will get a small cooler and load it with some drinks and one or more deli sandwiches.
Looking forward to it, thanks.
