Slough freebee
Dropped the free boat in a local lake for testing today. Fresh gas and charged the battery that has been sitting in it for two years and it started.
First time in the water we discovered a hose off and water coming in real fast. Hauled it out and fixed the hose. Back in and discovered another fitting plug missing and the water still coming in fast. Bilge pump not fast enough!
Third time in no leaks. Started it up and despite being in neutral it tried to run ashore. Fooled it though. Had it tied to the dock.LOL
Got it turned around and idled out onto the lake. Hmmm. Not much steering at slow speed with a jet. Should be interesting in the slough. Anyway, opened it up. Kinda like riding along a wire trying not to fall off either side at over 30. Used the boat to create some wake that we could come around and hit full tilt and it cut through it quite well. A few little things to do to it but if nothing else it will keep anyone watching entertained. LOL Barry
