  • Hoist the colors!

Well, with the time ticking down to the Alder lake treasure hunt we thought perhaps one final pre-event note with a list of members who have posted that they would be attending:

    Keith Townsend & family
    George (El Blanco)
    Marty Loken and Mo
    Chuck and Sheila Carey
    Jack and Elsa Leslie
    Greg Lamb & family
    Brian Franchini & family
    Jack and Kathie Dando
    Greg James and Susie Starfield
    Rick and Sarah Love
    Paul and Michelle Pecora
    Don Griffith & family
    Joe Johanesen & family
    Dennis and Barbara Huffman
    Brian Flaherty and Zany crew
    Bruce Drake

If you posted that you were coming and I missed it, please accept my apologies and let me know here. If your name is on the list and you will not be able to make it please let us know as well.
This event will be a lot of fun. The forecast for Saturday is mostly sunny with a high of 78 and calm winds. That means the mountain will be out in full splendor.
So if yer ship an' yer crew be ready, the time be upon us. Let each make their way to Port N.W.C.B.C. at Alder Lake for there is treasure to be had!!!!! The song has been sung...

    Yo, ho, haul together,
    hoist the colors high.
    Heave ho,
    thieves and beggars,
    never shall we die.

Looking forward to it! The "& Family" portion of my RSVP has been revised to just Cole and myself (I really do have a wife and daughter, some of you even saw them at Tapps ). Pending a positive water test (read that we don't sink!) we should have my Dad's Tolly there as well for it's maiden voyage. Will be minus the interior, but as of last night, it has everything else except a battery.

We are gonna try to make this happen...

We are heading down to Lynnwood tonight to find a prop, (prop shop sent mine home with some one else) And if successful we will have the new chris craft waiting to rendezvous with the gang that is meeting in south everrett. We really appreciate the invites to caravan as we have never been to this lake before and am still a little nervous with the old trailer...

ARRR!!! Hoist up the top sheet and spank her!!!!

                We are go for launch!!!

Was able to get a hold of the guy who had my prop and got it directly from him.. turns out he was even worse off than me, his prop is left hand rotation and he was schedule to leave town for 2 weeks tomorrow now he has to postpone his trip...

Anyways... We have a functional (as far as we know) chris craft ready for a treasure hunting good time!!!
