Just wanted to share pics of the coolest boat ride I ever took. This was on the Yalu river just across from N. Korea. Man that boat was FAST! I'm guessing we were doing at least 40 knots. On this river, there's no such thing as too much engine.
The bridge picture (the one on the right) is what's left of the one we bombed in the Korean war. To them its kind of a trophy. The ferris wheel on the far shore is in N. Korea. At night, there were no lights from that side of the river.
The wood boat was one we saw on the way there. It was like a neighborhood boat yard. They had two under construction at that time.
