Hey Kent, I did forget about the Grey 41 Plymouth business man's coupe we had. Three of us put our money together and got it for $35.00. Well to make this short, a friend took it out on a date and afterwords decided to mowed down some bus posts signs on a long street in Magnolia. I will not say on this posting why he did that after his date , but i think you get the idea! A guy saw him from his house window and went after Bruce and pulled him over. Like dumb dumbs we drive by and he reported that he thought we knew him. The police pick us up ( they knew us ) and took us to the police station downtown Seattle and tried to get us to tell them who Bruce was. They had each of us in a room trying to get us to tell them his name , even after they said they knew who he was _We played REAL dumb ( That was not to hard for us to do ). When i look back on this, we must not have put the car in our names or ins ( what Ins ) and that guy must not have gotten the Lic number of the old Plymouth. We sold it real quick after that. Chuck

It's no wonder you run a new Honda on Sweet Sixteen now, you've probably had enough of vintage motors and it would be a pain to carry around bags of sand in the boat!
You're right on about the motor. My Westerner came with a '58 Evinrude and it somehow reminded me of that Plymouth. My sons called it "old smokey" and although it didn't catch fire it idled about the same. It was a happy day when it sold at a garage sale! The old timer (older than me!) that bought it was thrilled. One mans junk is another mans treasure!Kent & Diane
