    Good Grief!

At the beginning of the video I wondered what in the heck you needed a roll bar on a boat for. Now I know.

    Wow.

I've ridden in one of those boats before, the roll bar is mostly there to keep you from flying out if the harness fails. Also there to protect you when the boat skips on to the hard at 60+ mph. When I first saw these boats up close my first thought was, "what the ____ is a roll bar gonna do for you under water?" then I was "educated" in the risk of launching onto dry land...

As for the thread title, slough "walk" I have a crew ready and waiting with our "silver bullet" aluminum canoe with a 10 hp merc clamped on the stern....

If you ever get a chance to see one of these events, take it. We saw them over in eastern washington (St. John ?) last year. I've been to ALOT of races of all sorts thru the years, and their show was one of the most entertaining! Rumor has it they are trying to build a track near Port Angeles. Heck, bring over a dozer and you could build one in my back yard! Wouldn't even need to bring in any water!:Raining:
