Birthday Celebration
Thanks, guys...
I spent my birthday hiking different beaches near Neah Bay and LaPush--and getting out to the overlook to see Tatoosh Island--which was a great way to turn 70. It reminded me of the time, 25 years ago and shortly after my Dad had died, when I took Mom out of Neah Bay in a 16-foot Poulsbo Boat, rounded Tatoosh in huge swells and scurried back to the harbor at our top speed of 5 knots. She never forgot that one...even though she was white-knuckled the whole way!
