75 degrees and here they sit. No reason for this except being lazy! Anyone else fall into this category?

John, You need to get a rocking chair to just look at them. I have a friend that has a rocking chair to sit and look at his three street rods value at over 560K. All i have left at this time is the G-3 and Skagit to rebuild this winter. I have a nice used King trailer with new bearing, seals, tires, winch unit. Order a 85 hp Merc LS with T/T for the Skagit. Will be a little faster that the Rosario was. Farallon leaves tomorrow for it trip to Ct. Best,Chuck

i can't believe the Farallon is leaving you and Shelia. One of the nicest boats out there but i understand about change. Your (new) to you Skagit will be a perfect fit as only you well know
Hope to see you this summer out on the water somewhere!
And oh by the Way... i too have a job just can make my own schedule that usually falls around nice weather..

Okay, Chuck, you think you Illahee can beat Rosario? Guess I'll have to get my order in for a pair of 200 hp. outboards. Or maybe one of those old Allisons or a Rolls Royce from an unlimited!

John, The only place i will be out on the water this summer is a lake with the G-3 ...not on the sound unless i'am only about 20 feet of shore. LOL

Jerry being the Rosario goes at a top speed of 31.2 via GPS , i thought i had better get a motor that would maybe hit the high thirty 's maybe? With the G-3's 65hp Merc and the 85hp merc i'am now on the dark side for sure. Maybe the name will change before she ready in the spring. Best,Chuck

Hi 30's? Wouldn't that be dangerous for a man your age? -

I agree John, now that I'm back in the Food & Beverage world it really cuts into my Boating time. Thank Goodness there are some people who have flexible schedules and can go out on a Monday - Tuesday. Skagits coming home this weekend and I can't wait to get that Bearcat out in Lake Whatcom !! :HandHorn1:

Okay, Chuck, so you're still just a kid but I will be a rather young 77 in 2011. Just found the Skagit website and saw the pics of Rosario running on Lake Roosevelt and near LaConner. Going to figure out how to get them on my screensaver as all my pictures of Rosario are of it setting still. Got the goop off the keel and bought some more burgundy paint and it is looking ready to go. However, the paint can says I have to wait after the last coat seven days before putting it in the water. Intended launch date around next Thursday or Friday.

                        Jerry,

I have photos of Rosario running, I'll look through my images and see what I can come up with for you. Do you want a couple large enough to use as desktop images?

Thanks Tim. Plan to run them in a screensaver. Have an oil portrait of Rosario as my desktop. I'd post it if I could figure out just how to do that. My picture files are so messed up I can't find anything. Just perhaps a thousand or more pictured some by date, some by occasion. Some just there.

I think I've found the oil painting

Here could be a painting of Rosario at LaConner. Let's see what happens when I try to find it.
