70 year old motor to the recuse

Chuck this is the little motor you gave me. took the boat out with a 1959 40hp Elgin on and got out in the middle of the lake and it dies. Wont even crank over. Figure the start solanoid went. So I fired up the 1940 Evinrude 1 1/2 and use it to troll for about 3 1/2 hours. That little motor got us up to 3mph and thats pushing 700lb plus. I'm real proud of that little motor make 3 times she has got us back to the dock. Sure love these old motors .
