Hi, Do any of you have experience with or knowledge of Palmer Engines? A quick search online indicates that Palmer has a long long history. Did they actually engineer and manufacture engines themselves; or were they primarily in the business of "marinizing" others engines for marine uses?
What brought Palmer to my attention was this boat...for sale in Southern California:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-...rQ5fMotorboats
It is listed as having Palmer M-383 engines. They look like Chrysler 383's to me....
Anyway; Palmer is a new name to me; I thought that perhaps others here might want to chime in and share their knowledge...
Thanks for reading,
