    Bless you Thom !

I feel bad because I know you fell off the trailer of my boat trying to fix my Merc 85 , I sure hope you are on the road to recovery and my boat had no part of what you are going through now . I spent 3 years in the Bering Sea and the most scared I've ever been on the water is the Chime walk we did on Lake Cushman in the G3 . Good Luck Thom and you are one of the genuine good guys and we are all pulling for you !

        Hi Thom,

We met at Mason Lake at the get-together there. I wouldn't expect you to remember me; that's OK...I'm sure we will meet again someday.

In the meantime...I'll keep the image of your t2x on my desktop....

Best wishes for your recovery; I suspect that one day soon...you will "turn the corner" after which improvement will come fast and sure.

Maybe that's today? I hope so.

Thom, I know how you feel, I had my back done a few years back. It took me 12 weeks walking with the corset and a cane before it all came back. Bottom line, it did eventually come back and the pain was gone.

Then the hip failed... but that's another story. VeryBigSmile

            Thanks everybody!
My spirits have definitely been lifted!
I'm almost 24 hours without pain-killer, but was unable to sleep so I am up to grap a pill in surrender - for now.
I truely hate drugs Rx or otherwise, but sometimes the Rx is required I guess.
If I lay real still nothing hurts, but I keep moving and when I do,...Holy Moly!!
I actually walked out to my Toyota 4X4 and drove to town and walked up a flight of steps to the USPO today without incident.
I think I'm being reminded of that 'outing' tonight as I try to sleep.
I'm going to be a better boy tomorrow - I promise!
Thanks again everyone for your kind thoughts.
Thanks too Mo for the phone call. It helped to hear your thoughts on this.

              Thom ,
So very glad you are getting better ,anf hope you continue with progress.
The image Rick posted of your Speeding G-3 with a Roostertail trailing behind inspired me to finish my G-3 last winter (around this very time....) after it sat "laying still" for almost 5 years.
Sitting in a snowbound car for 11 hours seems minor compared to what you`ve endured.
Hopefully you`ll keep on inspring us and make it back into Motor repair and G-3 piloting.:Bigdriving1:
Guess you`ll be limited to Turkey Pot Pie this Holiday.
Thanx for taking the time to update and keep us informed.

                Hey Thom.
I have never been much for drugs ether but with knee surgery plus other stuff that has happened this year, I know Not to get Behind on those pain killers. Once behind, it takes a long time to get ahead of it, If, you can.

Glad to hear your doing better. :GoodJob:

Tom, Good to hear you are getting about, even it if is just a little. My back got thrashed this spring (not nearly as bad as your situation) and I was feeling it until October. Now I'm right as rain and working on the 404. You'll be wrenching in no time!
