  • Burgees available for order

    Finally ...

I have a quote in hand for the burgees, in order to achieve the detail in our logo and font in the 10 x 15 size suitable for our (mostly) smaller boats, the best construction method is dyed rather than cut and sewed or embroidered. Since the lettering is dyed into the material, it won't crack, peel, etc. The burgees will be "read right double", meaning that they are actually two burgees sewn together so that the lettering is correct from either side, the lettering from one side will not telegraph through to the other side.

    The details from the manufacturer:

    Material: 300 DENIER POLYESTER
    Method: DIGITAL / DYED
    Shape: TRIANGULAR 10 x 15
Colors: RED body (pms 200, think "Coca-Cola" red) / WHITE lettering
Finish: HEADER & GROMMETS (no border)
    READ RIGHT DOUBLE
    UV INHIBITOR – Prevents fading
POLYURETHANE COATING – Protects and seals threads
SEPARATE BINDING – Applied to the edges to increase longevity
BLOCKOUT - Inserted in between to prevent shadowing

The burgees are $25.00 each. The club isn't making money at this price, this will cover the burgee cost, shipping to us and mailing to you. We need to order a minimum of 25, so please let me know how many you want and I'll put together the order. It will take 2-4 weeks (most likely closer to the 2 week mark) for the burgees to arrive, I'll let everyone know when they're here and you can make payment then.

Below is the mockup image from the manufacturer.

It's important that we know how many we need due to the requirement for orders of 25. The club can't afford to order 50 and sell 10, but of course we don't want to order 25 and and not have enough.

To reserve your burgee(s), instead of replying to this post, please scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the "Contact us" link, give us your name, the number of burgees you need and include your mailing address.

    Thanks!

    Tim

        Is it just me or . . . . .

I was looking at the manufacture's mock up and it struck me something just didn't look right (to me).
Wouldn't the burgee look better if the "boat" was turned around ?
When flying the burgee the "boat" will be pointed backward.
As Red Skelton used to say "It just don't look right to me!"

        Just wondering.

Traditionally, the boat faces the "fly", not the pole. It's oriented correctly.
