You will never guess what's under the bonnet !!!!!!! Mr ChuckB, Be nice now after all i lead two live's. One's a Merc guy and a Evinrude guy. Being the Saratoga weights 575 ( not counting the motor, gear ,etc) , i can see where it could go quite a bit faster than the 17' Skagit i had before weighting in at 1385 lb with the 50 Evinrude and gear @ 31.2 mpg via GPS.Maybe 40MPH on this one ? the good, the bad, and the ugly

Good looking Evinrude Mr. Carey, I'm sure it will be reliable and sip fuel like your previous...can't get me into a manufacturer pissing match, I hate all outboards equally!

ps: the Merc 90 is a sweetheart, will e-mail you Marty.

                    Chuck,
Serious hi-tech Cloaking device there Chuck.
Looks like a 1983 cover and frame at the very least.
I like putting the V-4 trim units in these as they move quicker but stock ones are just fine too.

Tim, She does seem like a nice motor. 1983 Evinrude with the Trim & Tilt and being 70 horses. One of the nice things i enjoyed on the Skagit this past year was the T&T on the Mercury. Even with the 50hp Evinrude on the other Skagits in the past was the hassle trying to rise the motor manually landing upon a beach. Now no problem. Chuck
