  • Old Bell Boy discovered in pole barn...

    Trying out posting a thread.

Quite a find at silent auction last month! May keep it till next year. Anyone have suggestion for best sealing of slight spider cracks on bottom?

Maybe this should be in Restoration question thread area rather than Classified?

Yah, if you go putting something like that in classifieds, someone is apt to try and buy it from you. Looks like a good find at the auction. Don't think anyone will boo or hiss for it being in the wrong category. Most of us (I could be the exception) are pretty nice people!

Thanks for the note, Lootas1, I wasn't sure if I was going to have to sell it (building a house and could use the $ for electrical/plumbing financing, etc... but I've really fallen for her (Queen Mary)... and after seeing what good shape she is in- especially after seeing these total restoration projects on the net- I think I might just have to keep her! I'l keep future comments out of the classifieds unless I decide to sell her. -Andy

I would take a old classic boat design over a new, whatever they have done to them, new boat any day of the week.

They cut too may corners with this new stuff they build. Not impressed unless its aluminum but those right angles are not pleasing to me.

Add new power, like the new boats and you have a better safer package :GoodJob:

So, IF, you can hang on to her, I would. :TwoCents1:
