Hey Skagit fans,
Ran the Storebro 36 to Friday harbor last weekend, and had a chance to visit Tim "McSkagit" Jones, and get a look at the Skagit 31.
The scope of work on this project, is unreal for one person to take on by themselfs, but Tim knows where every piece goes, like a giant jig saw puzzle.
"Mechanically she is ready to run right now", Tim told me, peering into the spotless engine room. Reassembling the rest of the boat, will take up most of the time.
Now that he has set a goal of June, for a launch date, he is under the gun.
"Just need a good stretch of warm weather, to finish her up" Tim said, to get the shop warm enough to work in.
We wish him the best of luck. Steve
