I didn't see anything different so I pressed F5 gently. Still no change. So I hit it hard and yelled. Still see no difference. Chuck, forget about the cost of the new and better website. How much is a new keyboard going to cost me?:Scared2:There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness.":shocked4:

EDIT: OK, in response to a rather surprising voice mail I just received, let me elaborate on my post above.
What I was trying to say was that I'm not going to post our cost for the web site in a forum that's open to the entire world, because we received a substantial discount for doing a lot of the work ourselves and the cost does not reflect what the developer charges for a web site. Considering that our site, among the others they've built, is their advertising and source of customers, it would be very unfair to them to, in effect, advertise that a site like ours (like it will be when completed, that is) can be had for what we paid. Not only would this be unfair to them, it would be a breach of the agreement I made on behalf of the club. I thought I had made this clear previously but evidently I didn't do a good enough job.
No one is hiding anything, and of course you all have a right to know how much of your money we spent on the site. Any club member who would like to know the cost of the site can email me and I'll be happy to tell them.
Tim

I can tell you that no matter which browser you are using there is an option somewhere under "Options" or "Preferences" called "clear cache" or "empty cache" or some other combination of words that means the same thing. Once the cached "image" of the old site is cleared, you will see the new one.
Your computer autmatically saves certain website files to speed up the loading process for sites you visit often. Sometimes these files get clogged up like contaminants in your fuel line and you need to flush the system before hooking up new gas.

Website photos
Hey all.
Better speak now if you don't want any of your photos shown on the front webpage.
We still have lots to do so the first chance we get, we will hurry. :BigHappy1:
Oh, and I have two speeds that I can work in.
If you don't like this one, you're Really not going to like my other speed :computers1:
I kind of jumped in and took on the photo rotation on the front page.
Got some photos for me to look at?
Post them in the "Pictures and Albums" (menu bar, right between User CP and FAQ) section of our forum and let me know you did so...opcorn1:
The resolution has to be pretty good on them and,
IF, you would like your name posted with your boat, Please send me the correct Spelling.
IF, you would like to have your boat posted without a name, make sure I know the correct year and model.
I can figure out most of them but then again, its better to get it right the first time.
Questions, ask away.

Joe,
The slide show is AWESOME!! Great work! Really enjoy that you went way back into the archives, fun to see shots of the old events we haven't done in awhile.
Like Chuck said in an earlier post, would be nice if the slides stayed up a little longer... But as a computer amateur I understand there may be a testing period prior to getting it finalized.Brian Flaherty

Yes, having fun with the photos and events for sure.
I don't see any timer controls on how long it takes each image but not done looking. Pretty sure that is going to be down into the guts coding thing, but, don't really know for sure...
I agree, they could be on for maybe 4 or 5 more seconds. Us old guys need longer to focus on stuffHelmar Joe Johanesen

Thanks Joe and Tim on checking out the speed thing like Brian mention. Joe is right that us old guys need more time to focus on stuff when there is a lot of boats in a photo.1957 17' Skagit Express Cruiser
