We went to opening day last Saturday. It was AWESOME. The building is cool, the people are really nice and the admission was a bargain. $15 for my family - 2 adults and 3 kids.

The classic boats on display were mostly wood, but there were some glass examples there as well. There was also a floating display of mostly Tollycraft and other oldies. Overall a great day at the museum with the family.

Here are a few shots for your enjoyment. Hm. Upload seems to be borked. I can't get anything else to attach. I'll try later.

NWCBC well represented at Foss Museum opening

If you attended the opening of the Foss Museum last weekend you would have seen several Northwewst Classic Boat Club Members boats on display. Bob Parks Sande ace, Brian and Steve Franchini's Tolycrafts, and My Mansfield double cockpit runabout. It was a great event, and most of these boats will be on loan to the museum until October. If you are in the area check it out. The people there have put a lot of effort into this re-opening of the facilituy.
