Here's mine. 1995 F-150 extended cab. First truck I've ever owned, but I was pretty sure I couldn't tow roughly 4,000 pounds of Bellboy-21-plus-trailer with my Kia Optima. I got it because it was for sale locally at a good price. Color was completely unimportant.

The funny thing is that I spent hours trying to decide on a color scheme for the boat. I was going to do something blue and white until I saw a picture of my BB in it's original red. I chose Pettit Easypoxy because it got good reviews here. And then I find that the Pettit red matches the truck so well that I've used it for touchup in a couple places, and it's hard to find them. The clear code is flaking on the hood and roof, and I think i can do just those with the Easypoxy and it won't be noticeable. You can see it in the background. The color is actually closer, but the boat side is shaded by the cover.

Nothing special. Just your run of the mill Chevy Silverado 2500HD. This picture was taken on my way back from picking up the Seafair in Walnut Creek CA, March 2008.

I forgot one of my towing rigs. She has a 360 - II engine and will pull a house off the foundation.

This is my Fiberform that I towed from Astoria back to Sandy Oregon. Made her work on that trip.
In fact the coastal range on Hwy 30 going down into Rainer, the brake line burst on the trailer. Almost lost the whole package. Was able to turn and grind the drums and rotors, add new brake shoes and now without the ABS crap, you can jump on the brakes and everything in the back of the RV had better be nailed down as here it comes heading forward to the windshield
This rig has the old 727 Torqueflite transmission in it which with a trans oil cooler is next to bullet proof.
This boat had been holding water so she was extra heavy but up the hill she came but only at 35mph.

I am, for the most part, a GM guy. I think the 350 truck motor was a mistake on GM's part. Or at least until they came up with the Electric Fuel Injection (EFI).
Problem with that, they built Way to many without the EFI that if your lucking, you can maybe get 10mpg....
That Dodge as long as you keep her 60 and under, drive it like a old man, she gets 13.6mph which is not bad at all.
I just figure that in to the cost of Not paying a expensive motel every night I lay my head down on my Own pillow.

Same with the grub. If I haul my own grub, I can beat the restaurants out of a few bucks for gas too.
                  SO, it does work out.

Those, you can find pretty cheap with lower miles on them. They are just not freeway rigs meaning, keep the speed down to 60..
Some minor repairs and you have a nice little nest.

vehicle for those looking for a new one .
We just got a new BMW X3 A small 4 banger turbo with 8 spd trans 25mpg- hwy . At 70mph @1950 rpm
Lots of torque and is a great puller.
