    Don't forget this one.
I just never ask Ed Brown (The fellow that built us a new website to match the old broken one) to put the Zazzle store thing back up.
    But, here it is.

I would sure give it a try...
I don't know much about Zazzle other than I was against it in the beginning due to the Horrible pricing they use. I was told we were to get some sort of percentage from them but not a single penny showed up in the books.

Never the less, its better than Zip so go for it.

There is a link to from the home page (not Forum) to the Zazzle site. Click on "Store"-top right, then "shop now". If you think it should be different just let me know.

              Thanks Ed.
I guess I didn't see it the first time I looked, sorry.
We don't have access to ours to create things so might put or add Martys site to it as well.

I added the link to Marty's store. I bought a Bellboy mug- it shows my boat, only different arrangement of white and red, and the one on the mug apparently runs. I sent a request to Zazzle- we should be able to reclaim the store. I hope. If not we'll have to set up a new one.

I'll be creating some new classic-boat designs for our Zazzle store, using some images Helmar provided, but of course the club could create (reactivate and enhance) its own Zazzle presence, too. Nobody will ever make much money from having a presence on Zazzle--it's strictly about making thigs like shirts, hats, coffee mugs and other such items available to members, without the club having to get involved in the expense or hassle of production and fulfillment of orders. That's the brilliance of Zazzle, Cafe Press and other such services: Their prices might not be the lowest in the world but when you consider that everything you order from them is a custom, one-off product, the pricing makes sense.
I started the store, http:/Zazzle.com/Islandboater mainly to make some designs available to members of NWCBC, back in the days before the club launched its own Zazzle store. Since then, I've also put together a Zazzle store for our local-area club, the Port Townsend Pocket Yachters....so we wouldn't have to deal with the cost or headaches involved in our own production of things like t-shirts, hats, etc. As mentioned in one of the adjoining postings, the other huge advantage in Zazzle for individual members is that they can order whatever color they want, in addition to selecting from different shirt fabrics and hat styles, etc., rather than being forced into "Blue or Red" only when a club has to pay for production of dozens of shirts, hats or what-have-you. Plus, you can custom-modify any of the designs...for instance, making the logotype larger, smaller or in a different position if you wish.

If you want to see our Port Townsend Pocket Yachters store, go to the main website http:/pocketyachters.com and look in the Club Store section.
