  • Visiting Friday Harbor

    Tim,

The wife and I will be in Firday Harbor this Friday/Saturday. Any chance we can meet up for a look-see at the Saratogan?

John, I'm heading to South Bend tomorrow, Thursday, August 28, for a few days. Sorry, I won't be around, but the Saratogan will be moored at the Port. It's right next to the ferry landing on the Spring Street Landing pier. Stop by and check it out. Needs washing.

Are you saying you want me to wash her?

Sorry we will be missing you. But have fun in Bend! Drink some good beer while you are down there.

Stopped by for a visit on Friday. She looks better in person. Nice to see your tour sign with the other guys there too.

Man, that is a crazy harbor! It seems like no one is aware of the no wake courtesy in the marina. Dinghy's buzzing about, sail boats, trawlers, fishing vessels, you name it, everyone is hot to get out. It was quite surprising.

John, Glad you made it up to Friday. Yes, the harbor is chaotic. Sometimes I get spray on my windows before I even get out of the harbor. Got to be very aware of the sea plane traffic. I've had a few close calls with planes.

              cheers,

              Tim
