Mahogany & Merlot @ Lake Chelan

We arrived late last night in beautiful Lake Chelan! It was an uneventful (mind you we have a 2 year old in the back seat) 6 hour drive from Bellingham via highway 2...

So far we have well over 25 boats tied to the Lakeside Marina docks. There are 3 glassics; Franchini's Playmaster, a beautiful Century Fibersport, and our Chris Craft. There are 3 Canadian built Sheperds, which are some of the most beautiful wood boats you'll ever see!

The show officially starts tomorrow and today was a play day for most of us!!

Here are the few shots I got today during our run up to 25 Mile for a picnic lunch. We also have an official name on our boat for the weekend... It seemed fitting for a show titled "Mahogany & Merlot"...

Those two Calkins Craft boats were restored while George was still alive. Those were done by Mike ? in Gorge's old A frame shop next to were Island Boat Shop was located in Mistery bay.

Also way Cool.
Mike also has a sweet Bartender that George designed that he used too.

I went to this event boatless and had a good time. Those boats are totally amazing and the cars were pretty cool also.
