Waterspout encountered in Italy 2005

Last weeks waterspout in south Puget Sound was a rare event. Especially here in the Northwest.

Back in 2005 my son Barry and daughter Zoanna and I were in Italy. We rented a 20 foot outboard skiff and spent the afternoon cruising the Cinque Terre (Five lands). On returning to Vernazza we encountered a waterspout about a half mile away. No audio as this was shot with a little pocket camera. We were definitely excited and the guy that rented us the boat was glad to see us return. Hope you like this and leave some feedback if you will............

Cool! When I was in Sicily in 2008 I saw one off the north side near Palermo. Pretty mesmerizing...we watched it until it was gone.
