Wild blue, thanks for the info on the oil mix, I would think the 50:1 would allow the engine to run better then the current 24:1 I am using.
Helmar, if I can get the boat running decent I may try to get up to the event, but hate to tow it that far and have to just turn around. but at that point if things are not going well I may have to try that...
Path, that is exactly the set up I have. What I have not figure out is how to tighten the lower screw on the control box side without fully disassembling the throttle/shift control box. I put the screw just slightly into the hole on the lower side and then tightened the upper screw very tight, if this does not work, i will have to take the control box apart to allow access to the lower screw so both can be cleared...
