These are some tough times. About a year ago I realized that there where going to be some sacrifices to be made to launch the Saratogan on time.

Been trying to sell my Glasply for about six months to finance the last of the Skagit project.....! Inquires from tire kickers mostly. I was asking a lot for a 30 year old boat.......but it has a fabuous engine....!

Without any serious buyers, I decided to sell the engine seperate from the boat. Didn't take long to find a buyer. Sold the Volvo Penta TAMD41 turbo diesel for more than I paid for it new in 1996. Quality sells, you know....!

Felt that I had sold my right arm...or one of my children. Put 3366 hours on the engine....entrusted my life to it on many...many...many occasions.
About 2.3 years at the helm at four hour days..... That's the down side.

The up side is that the Saratogan has two new TAMD41's..................
    Launch day is June 6...........
    See you here..........

    Volvo power!

    I know the feeling Tim,

I have 2 of the big TAM turbo's in the Storebro, and they are great power plants!

Got out in a storm, off Deception pass yesterday, and was able to power my way out of six foot swells.

Nothing like the sound of those monsters rumbling at full speed, yea!
