  • Sunday Tacoma Boat Show

This Sunday, the Tacoma Yacht Club is hosting a combination boat/car show for a charity fundraiser. The boat portion will be a trailer display with about 25 boats invited to represent the many decades of boating. The majority will be wooden runabouts, but I know several Classic Boat Club members have been invited as well. The organizer is stressing that this will be a weather permitting event, so if it is raining, they won't be there. If you are in the area, stop by and check it out. Here is the information from the TYC.

"On May 17th, from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM the Shipmates of the Tacoma Yacht Club, are having their Annual tour of boats. This year they trying something different. The theme is: " Antique Classic Boats and Cars through the decades."
There will be antique cruisers at the guest float, antique cars and runabouts on land display. The runabout portion of the show will be weather permitting only.
This a charity event at a cost of 3(three) dollars donation per person."

    Where exactly is it Brian?

Do they have enough representation from the mid-sixties? Because I know a guy with a pretty sweet 1965 Bertram 20' Moppie.

I am not exactly sure where it is. I assume it is at the TYC since they talked about being able to eat at the Yacht Club. We have an ACBS meeting tonight and I will post more details for anyone interested.
