  • 2015 Day on the Delta, in Memory of Chuck Carey

Hello NWCBC from the Golden State Glassics. Because Chuck was a close boating friend of many on the GSG, I for one, I wanted to dedicate this year's cruise during the Day on the Delta Spring gathering to Mr Carey. And what a fantastic day it was, a beautiful Spring day on the Delta, many members and their families joined in for boating and family picnic. I'll post here the link to the GSG thread honoring our friend. Just wanted to share the day with Chuck's neighbors and his close boating community up north.

There are many more pictures, so stop by and say hello.

    Eduardo-
Wonderful, absolutely classy thing to do in Chuck's honor. He loved visiting California, something he did for his job, and then in later years, to keep in touch with GSC folks ( and the occasional boat "deal") as well as a trip about a year ago to visit one of his sons. Looks like a super turn out, nice weather, nice boats, nice folks !
We've yet to get our calendar together for a summer cruise in honor of Chuck, just a matter of time, and we'll share with you !
    Best to GSC 's !

What a good thing to do and what fun. You know he was watching.

We have named our Around Bainbridge event to Chuck Careys Around Bandbridge as it was his event.

Chuck will always be with us on any boating events. What a wonderful person.
      Thanks guys.

        Eduardo and Mercedes ,
Very nice of you guys to share your event and connection to Mr Carey.
His void is great but his friendships will help ease the pain of his loss.
Thanx for sharing the pics ,we`re a 1000 miles + away but just a thought away if you let you mind do the work.
