Classic cruiser turned bass boat?

So I was out playing on the water tonight and decided to throw one of my bass rods in the Uniflite. Pulled up to the spot I wanted to catch just one fish at...two cast later I had this:


Last salmon run in September I actually had the boat set up for catching some Chinooks but came up empty on both outings. Next time...

Yeah, that motor looking a little rough... But at least you got it running great! Now it's easier to justify the paint hassle. I know there was a member who had connections somewhere to get reproduction decals for some of the Bearcat stuff.

The funny thing is I've had all new decals since day 1...I just didn't want to jinx the outboard and put the cart before the horse. I learned that from someone on here a while back that painted the entire outboard and it looked great, but didn't run worth a d....

I'll get on it though I do like the patina look sometimes.

I used to Love bass fishing but haven't been fishing in Years.
