That G3 is a foot shorter than my PowerCat. I'm running a 115 Black Stack on mine, it it does 50+. What prop are you running?
When are you planning to take her out for her first run?

Doug, i was just having some fun seeing what it would look like on the G-3 ,so i roll it out along with the G-3 to clean up my side of the garage today. I thought it would be cool to get a picture with it behind the transom. I do have a 65hp SS Merc on it's way to me however. I hope to have the G-3 ready in about a month. don,t you have to fix the transom first?the merc is 20"is it and you transom is 16" while you are rising the transom maybe you should make it thicker as while.i,ll wait until you do your test ran then i can see if i want to put a bigger merc on my boat

Bill, i just thought i would have a little fun pulling a few people's chain. On the Farallon the transom was beef up to 2 5/8 so i know what you mean about that.Best,Chuck1957 17' Skagit Express Cruiser
